As Senior Vice-President, Group Benefits, Marie-Chantal is responsible for all aspects of Sun Life Group Benefits in Canada.

Sun Life Group Benefits has more than 5 million individuals and their families in Canada. Through leading wellness products and solutions, more than 75 million claims are processed through more than 50 millions healthcare touchpoints each year.

Marie-Chantal joined Sun Life in 1998 and has progressively climbed the corporate ladder, to become most recently Vice-President, Market Development, Group Benefits. She works tirelessly to stimulate Sun Life’s business – and driving the industry forward. Under her leadership, Sun Life has brought many innovations to market, including the Sun Life Mental Health Coach and Lumino Health Virtual Care.

Marie-Chantal is a strong advocate of diversity, equity, inclusion, and mental health in the workplace. She co-chaired Sun Life’s ÉchangesInspirAction network, which equips women to realize their professional ambitions. She is also deeply involved with the Sun Life Pride Network and sits on several industry and community boards.

Marie-Chantal holds a double MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal and Université Paris-Dauphine, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University with a focus in journalism.
